The controlled object is a whole system including six vessels, which adopt S7-300 system and are controlled in split screens. The six vessels are:
- one 360L oil phase vessel
- one 1200L aqueous phase vessel
- one 1200L coarse emulsion vessel
- two 1200L homogenization vessels
- one 1200L storage tank
- In order to achieve a better emulsification, the reaction vessels are equipped with high shear mixer and high-pressure homogenization vessels.
- Since the high temperature caused during the working of high-pressure homogenizers has a bad impact on the fat emulsion, NJR furnishes the piping system with heat exchanger.
- Considering the fat is difficult to clean, this fat emulsion intravenous manufacturing system is equipped with fully automatic CIP cleaners.
